DEMONSTRATION NOTICE
U.S. law generally prohibits the unauthorized destruction or disabling of aircraft, including drones. During the target-engagement demonstration, the Orion system detects, identifies, and tracks the drone while a programmed aiming offset directs the shot toward a separate suspended target below the aircraft. This demonstrates autonomous tracking and targeting performance without firing at the drone itself.
